Man Connives With Two Others To Abduct His Six-Year-Old Cousin In Katsina

The police in Katsina state have apprehended a man who connived with his accomplices to abduct his 6-year-old cousin from Kano state to Kastina state.

 

A statement released by the command says the prime suspect, 19-year-old Abdulrazak Ibrahim alias “Popular”, of Bachirawa quarters in Kano state, connived with two others identified as Aliyu Salisu alias “Chilo,” aged 19 and Mohammed Ibrahim alias “Zalamo,” aged 19, to abduct their victim, Fatima Abubakar, age 6, of Bachirawa quarters in Kano state, on January 6, 2023.

 

 

The victim who is a cousin of Abdulrasak was abducted at about 11pm and whisked to Katsina state where they demanded a two million naira ransom.

 

The police immediately swung into action and investigations by detectives led to the arrest of Aliyu Salisu, alias “Chilo” while attempting to receive the ransom.

 

The police say during the course of the investigation, the other members of the syndicate were also arrested, and the victim was rescued unharmed. Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
