Professor Wole Soyinka Calls For Restructure In Nigeria

Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has said that Nigeria should be urgently restructured and re-configured in a way that would suite all sections in Nigeria. He made the statement on Wednesday, May 23, at second Chinua Achebe international conference held in Nsukka. The Nobel Laureate was given a Life Achievement Award at the event.

It was gathered that Professor Wole Soyink and a member of the House of Representatives, Pat Asadu were honoured at the event where the Nobel Laureate, was given a “Life Achievement Award.” In his comments, the chairman of the event and former governor of Anambra state, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, said the leaders of the southwest, south-south and middle belt would meet in the middle belt before organising a mass rally in Lagos, where they would announce a party they would vote for to ensure the restructuring of the country
