Neymar has departed Barcelona for Paris ahead of his unveiling parade following his £199million transfer. The Brazilian forward completed the world transfer record to seal his move to PSG on Thursday.He will be seen in a PSG shirt for the first time on Friday afternoon when he if officially presented to the supporters in the city.
Neymar was greeted by supporters – including a young fan in a Barcelona shirt – as he arrived at the airport in early hours of Friday morning.
The 25-year-old has paid his goodbyes to his Barcelona team-mates and offered an emotional farewell message on social media following the completion of his move.
Neymar’s representatives paid the release clause in full on Thursday afternoon and he rubber-stamped the switch by the evening.
