Mass Burial To Hold On May 22nd For Catholic Priests, 17 Others killed By Herdsmen 

The Makurdi Catholic Diocese has fixed the 22nd of May 2018, for the mass burial of the two Catholic priests and 17 others killed by armed herdsmen at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church Ayar Mbalom community of Gwer East Local Government Area in Benue State on Tuesday April 24th.

The Chancellor of Makurdi Diocese, Reverend Father Jude Ortese, who made the announcement, said the burial will take place at the holy pilgrimage centre in Ayati, Benue state.

Recall that two priests, Rev Father Gor Joseph and Fr.Felix Tyolaha and 17 parishioners were killed by suspected herdsmen that stormed the church during early morning mass.
