Deputy Speaker Of Kano Assembly Defects From APC To PDP

Deputy Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Zubairu Hamza Massu, has dumped the from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

In a letter addressed to the chairman of the APC in his Massu Ward of Sumaila Local Government Area, he said was leaving the party because of unjust treatment, lack of internal democracy and the total marginalization of Kano South from a lot of opportunities.

Massu also told journalists that an example of the alleged maltreatment was what was meted against the former Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari, Kawu Sumaila by leadership of APC.

He said;

‘’You see Kawu Sumaila was not fairly treated in 2019 and the party pleaded with us at that period, however, we are already seeing the same signs of a repeat of that situation hence we need to take a decision to right the wrong in that direction.”
