BBC Africa Eye’s “Sweet Sweet Codeine” Documentary Lands First Emmy Nomination For Nigeria

This documentary – Sweet Sweet Codeine – by BBC Pidgin and BBC Africa Eye has landed the first International Emmys nomination for the BBC World Service and Nigeria.

The documentary, released in 2018, is BBC Africa Eye’s first documentary and it was done by investigative journalists Ruona Meyer and Adejuwon Soyinka (editor of BBC Pidgin).

It is nominated under the News and Current Affairs category.
