Ajax Wants De Ligt Back At Club

Ajax are reportedly considering a move to bring Matthijs de Ligt back to the club on loan – just six months after he completed a move to Juventus.

De Ligt was wanted by several of Europe’s top clubs over the summer after a stellar campaign that saw him captain the Dutch side to the Eredivisie title and the semi-finals of the Champions League.

He eventually completed a £67.5million move to Juventus but has yet to enjoy the same success with the Italian giants.

The Dutch centre-back has managed just one substitute appearance in Juve’s last five games, leading to increased speculation over his future.
