10 Nigerian Startups To Pitch At Seedstars World Lagos

10 Nigerian startups are set to compete in Lagos for 2017 Seedstars World slot. The startups will be pitching on Friday, August 25

Winners has already been picked from other African countries like Mozambique, Tunisia, Tanzania, South Africa and Uganda.

The winning startup from each local competition will earn the chance to pitch at the global final in Switzerland next year for the chance to secure US$500,000 in equity investment, as well as other prizes.

The 10 startups selected to pitch at the event include AI-powered recruitment platform DropQue, ed-tech startup Edves, developer-finding platform eWorker, data collection startup GetJama and recycling-focused social marketplace irecycle.

E-health startup Medsaf, e-delivery startup Parcel-it, on-demand dry cleaning service, fintech startup, and professional services network Wesabi complete the list.

The companies were nominated based on their perceived regional and global scalability as well as their date of incorporation being less than two years ago, evidence of a minimum viable product (MVP), and received funding amounting to less than US$500,000.
