Rivers Community Under Surveillance After IPOB, Soldiers Clash
Some parts of Oyigbo Local Government Area majorly around Timber Junction where there was a clash between soldiers and some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra on Tuesday is presently under surveillance by security operiatives.
The security operatives, who were mainly policemen, also embarked on stop-and-search in order to forestall a repeat of the crisis.
Calm has, however, returned to the area after the clash that lasted for about an hour on Tuesday.
